Competition Run

Greetings, everyone!

On Saturday, February 13, 2021, at around 3:00 PM, EST, there will be a large-scale event being held where 2 or 3 teams, depending on the number of participants, will be put up against a series of 3-4 areas that they must clear to reach the final area and defeat the boss of the event in order to earn a prize.

Here's the information you need to know:

- EX Difficulty will be decided before the event begins and it will be the same for all teams and can NOT be changed throughout the course of the event.
- People will break off into either two or three teams consisting of no more than 10-12 people each.
- Each team will have their own unique series of areas that they must clear to reach the final area. Each course will be vastly different than the other(s).
- Each subsequent area in all courses will contain tougher challenges than the previous ones, and these challenges are not just limited to tougher enemies! There will be traps and a few puzzles (nothing too difficult) to figure out in order to progress to the next area, such as doors that require finding the key to.
- The last area will be the same for all teams and will be split up into equal sections depending on the number of teams. In this area, there will be identical bosses for each team that is hand-crafted by me that each team must defeat.

The first team to reach and defeat the final boss will get a prize.

This event is expected to go on anywhere from one to four hours depending on the difficulty the teams have at clearing each area and reaching and defeating the final boss.

In addition to the prize that the winning team gets, standard rewards will be handed out for all participants at the end of the event.

Planning and strategizing how you might approach a run such as this is encouraged! Get together with others and discuss what you might try to do for a given situation and prepare yourselves for an enjoyable (hopefully) event!

At the end of the event, I will open a new thread asking for any and all feedback from the event and I appreciate any information you guys provide afterwards.

If anyone has any questions, do not hesitate to ask!

Looking forward to seeing you guys then!
