I have noticed that small line in Brumm's commits :

[*] Full caster progression for rangers

That is a much awaited and welcome change !

Thanks !

I couldn't agree more! :D
I've been looking forward to this change since I started playing here in February of 2015 ;)

I am glad you like it. I guess you'll like the other changes as well.

Hello

Rangers are feat starved, so I wonder if the following suggestion could be considered :

TWF style : add also the three TWD feats in the line
2H line : add also shield skin feats line
Animal : Add some animal boosting spells as abilities like cleric domains or whatever (grater magic fang, nature's avatar, jagged tooth you get it)
Archery : Add the the longbow weapon focus/GWF/EWF line. IMHO marksman becomes irrelevant nowadays anyway.
Hunter : I don't know it for now, can't say

Is that bad idea ?

So while you are working on rangers... Pls. consider making One Shot a free\swift action, not a full round one, as it is now. Problem is - as a full round action it's a loss of the DPS this round.
Magic is impressive, but now Minsc leads! Swords for everyone!

If " Hunter Style" is going to be the best way to go for rangers then yes i can see them being slightly feat starved as you still need to take the other combat feats. TWF , Archery or Spear/Shield Basher...

A feat every 6 levels? That way you can choose whatever you like regardless of your combat style type, or more improved favoured enemies!
