Throwing Weapon boosts!

Any chance of a throwing weapon enhancement boost? The newest loot has way higher enhancement bonus than +9.

I know the eternal power struggle of containing magical AB at trinity! the loot gets better and better and the monsters tougher and tougher!

A new shard feat for extra AB, unlimited throwing mastery VI and VII?

Pretty please??

Just did some average damage calculations comparing the Throwing Axe vs the Sling as both are 1 handed ranged weapons, possibly to help design a balanced power level for throwing weapons.

For a fair comparison, we have a fully forged non-magic sling (low end), a maximized Giantslayer sling (high end), and Throwing axes with all the feats taken. A DM sling can potentially beat Giantslayer, but such a sling is very rare. We ignore mighty, damage feats, and set bonuses as these are build and other gear dependent.

Slings and Throwing axes both feature the same awful 20/x2 crit multiplier, so that isn't factored in.

Store-Bought Sling Damage (4 ER3 Metals, 2d8*4 pre ER3, +10 EB, and with Reverb Shot)
2.5 Base
36 Forged damage
14 Ammo damage
14.19 ER3 Adamantite + Enhancement Bonus + Ammo bonus (they don't stack as slings are bludgeoning)
14 Cold Iron
22 Mithral
22 Dark Iron
= 124.69 Average Damage per shot

Giantslayer Sling Damage (4 ER3 Metals, 3d12*3 and 2d8 forged, +12 EB, and with Shou Lung as reverb does not stack with the sling's innate sonic daamge)
2.5 Base
67.5 Forged damage
7 Ammo damage
14.59 ER3 Adamantite + Enhancement Bonus + Ammo bonus (they don't stack as slings are bludgeoning)
14 Cold Iron
22 Mithral
22 Dark Iron
= 149.59 Average Damage per shot

Throwing Axes (Cold damage feats are superseded by ER3 Cold Iron)
3.5 Base
35 Forged damage
9 Enhancement Bonus
14 ER3 Adamantite
14 Cold Iron (and Ice Slinger II)
22 Mithral
22 Dark Iron
= 119.5 Average Damage per shot

Hence, throwing axes need a 5-30 damage buff per hit to put them in line with slings. They also further need an additional +4 to hit to compensate for the forgeable +13 AB on slings, as well as a way to obtain Keen or Improved Critical.

Additionally, slings offer a minimum of 15 hp, 3 passive regeneration, and +2 to 2 skills from forging, which throwing axes do not have. This can go up to 50 hp and 10 regen with a high roller DM sling. DM slings may also offer spellslots.

I agree with kc in his calculus. Slings will anyway be better - more damage, regen, bonus hp, spell-slots, etc... But fixing AB issue - is a good point to start with!
Next step could be to increase the damage - I think 2d6 given by all these feats could be improved to 2d8. If this is not enough - few more throwing feats with exotic damage types: magic, divine, physical, piercing, etc...
What do you think?

Just to add on, a mid-tier sling (Sey'ryu's) maxes at 135.19 - but lacking keen, and the Drow castle slings max at a paltry 127.69, only +3 damage over a non-magic forged sling (though they do give keen and a minor massive critical boost).
