Just tested on beta. Confirmed that ER bonuses are not applying, leaving my max level character at CL40 instead of 50 for stormsongs.

I think Great Thunderstrike should be 2d8/CL (900 at CL50) instead of 2d12/CL (1,300 at CL50). Adding a 10 round blind effect to Thunderstrike and Great Thunderstrike would make them both more useful as disables.

Great Thunderstrike has lost that additional 3rd strike, but still remains a line for targeting, although it doesn't hit anything if fired that way.

The VFX and spell icon for the default Winter's Ballard (Call Lightning Storm) is much more impressive than Call Lightning. Perhaps Stormsong (Call Lightning) can take the Call Lightning Storm VFX once Winter's Ballard gets changed into a Chain Lightning effect? The Winter's Ballard icon should also be changed to the one for Chain Lightning to reduce confusion.

I have not tested if the stormsongs work with the epic purist caster feats (Domineering, Explosive, Harsh), but ideally they should not - otherwise, purist casters get a pretty huge advantage over other classes like Bards, Warlocks who can take stormsinger. The base numbers of the stormsongs are calibrated to match the output of a purist caster with identical CL anyway.

All beta testing has passed after KC and I worked through the last of the issues this morning. I will be rolling out shortly,

Edit - The amulet upgraded says this
Upgrading adds:
3x 1-9 spellslots for the appropriate class

Does that include Bard?

Hi Brian,

Browny made an excellent point on discord that Sorcerers/Wizards/Paladins/Rangers/Warlocks can also be stormsingers.

Perhaps we could add 3 more alternative upgrade paths?

1 & 2) Sorcerer and Wizard - Use appropriate crookweave amulet to add 3x Sorc/Wiz slots and Practiced Caster

3) Paladin & Ranger & Warlock - Use an Amulet of the Mage Slayer to add Practiced Caster/Invoker for all 3 classes and +10% all physical immunity (these classes don't value spellslots)

For bard, I think either 3x 1-9 (including the non-standard 7-9 spellslots) OR 4x 1-6 would be fair.

FYI: Stormsinger/Lord set item development is complete and has passed preliminary testing. Handing over to KC for beta testing. Final details are in the set item catalog. We will be expanding the amulet upgrading moving forward beyond what we roll out with.

Stormsinger / Stormlord set items are live and in the drop table.. The set item catalog has been updated. We still have some description lore stuff to do on them, but they are fully functional.
