Random Loot Specifications

Realms of Trinity has a random drop system that allows you to get drops based on different factors such as the slain creature's Challenge Rating.

There is a limit to the total item’s worth(ie, in gold) that can drop based on the creature's Challenge Rating. For example, you will never(literally) get a +7 scimitar with 18 Vampiric Regeneration and 2d10 positive, because that item would be worth too much for it to drop in the first place.

The slain creature’s race will affect which type of item properties will be placed on the item.

The highest creature Challenge Rating on the server is 35. The script goes higher, but I'm not going to bother with this. These are the maximum possible values for the random drops system for creatures with a Challenge Rating of 35.

I think your forgot to add bonus feats and Freedom of Moviment and Haste. Ive had items drop with things like Evasion, Improved Evasion and some others I don't recall, and also Haste and Freedom of Moviment.

This is random loot generated from the random loot system, not RoT custom created blueprints that can drop at locations set by us with probabilities. We have an item drop report that details that. This compilation just states what you can expect from the randomly generated ( and I mean the item is actually created at time of kill, there is no blueprint ) loot.

My bad. I had gloves (simply called gloves) dropped with Imp Evasion (and still am wearing them) and nothing else on them. Same for clothes named Clothes and Boots named, well, Boots. I thought all items with the generic name were dinamically created.

No, you're right Kat. This is just the info that I found in the script(there are multiple ones) used for the random loot. Evasion(and Improved) can be directly added to the item without using the ITEM_PROPERTY_BONUS_FEAT.

The best example of this would be the relic amulet

As you can see, Darkvision is considered a "feat" in the game but doesn't use the function that normally calls for feats on items. Persistent and Silent spell do, on the other hand.

I also suspect that you can find true seeing on items.

EDIT: Holy Avenger and Keen should also be properties that you could find on items. I'll add these.

In the above example we see 50% sonic reduction. Can items like this still drop? What is listed under damage protections and what I have seen drop long ago conflict. I have seen items up to 100% drop before. However, I am not sure if this has changed.

The 5% cap is (or was) only valid for random drops. The Relic of the Liches isnt a random drop, its a special item and has always the same stats. It is still dropable by the Conicil of five (Black).
