Another quick update: I added even more handles to tweak XP on the fly so after we pushed everything to the server we can change the XP you get without the need of a server reboot. I just logged back in after about a year hiatus ... and this is one of the best changes I've seen come about. This gives an actual reward to running event server and endgame areas rather than taking part in SpiderSmash2020. I've only gotten to play the last couple of days and my constructive input ...

Because the current ECL system simply doesn't work with the new reward logic. And the new reward logic is required because the old one won't work anymore if we roll out the CR recalculation code.

Hello everyone, if the new rules make it to the server ECL will play a bigger role. To balance that out we'll probably have to adjust ECL rules a little bit. KC suggested to set Yuan Ti as the strongest race to ECL 2 and set the other ones to 2 or below. I think that sounds like a pretty reasonable ...

Is the current spell description up to date? Because one round per caster level sounds reaonsable to me. We have to regulate duration AoE spells a little bit not just for balancing reasons but also for their impact on the server performance.
