We got some complaints about the recent changes. I'll roll them back soon. This includes the commit logs from Jan 01 and Dez 30.

Edit: And a lot of players seem to prefer more consistency so at least I won't commit any changes anymore that affect the game mechanics.

Well, I would say we don't touch the Fighter crossbow but just set the number of attacks back to what it was in vanialla NWN2.
