Day One

I'm bored. Really bored. More bored than a human is with an elf for a husband. More bored than a drow-priestess with an empty slave pen. More out of things to do than a hungry mind-flayer in a room full of tied up living half-orcs. What was happening? There seems to be less and less of those delightfully stupid heroes hell-bent on impaling themselves on my sword for some inconsequential transgression they'd imagined that I'd done. How was I to know that bedding the local baron's daughter on her wedding night was against some silly local custom? I wasn't a complete monster mind you, I had already disposed of her betrothed so he could be spared the ignominy of watching her enjoy herself more with me than him.

Alas, something has changed. I accosted a dandied up human "warrior" (what a joke that term is!), and he revealed to me shortly before expiring that what remained of the local entertainment had scurried off to some insignificant settlement called Trincackackity. Time to find this Trincackacity and put an end to its ruining of my entertainment!

Day Five

Researched where Trincackackity might be. Ransacked a trader caravan and found flyers asking for "heroes" of the realm to assist with trouble in Trinity. Stupid human "warrior".

Day Fourteen

After long travel, with frequent diversions due to road traffic (yum!), I've finally arrived in Trinity to see what all the fuss is about. Came across some drunken bumbling idiot human by the name of Vaster. How humans have expanded so far is beyond me. The guy's constantly drunk and has his guard down, and yet no one has succeeded in disposing of him and rightfully taken his place? It seems that humans like being bullied about by those weaker than them. My opinion of the human race has taken a sharp dive from merely miserable, to absolutely pathetic. No wonder the city of Trinity itself seems to be primarily made up of non-humans. It's like the humans build their cities, and then allow them to be taken over by the other races.

Wait! Perhaps that is the secret to their expansion. They simply allow others to do the work for them. Hmmm, it seems that I may have to revise my opinion of humans after all. I still have no idea how this Vaster buffoon fits in though. Perhaps he is the village idiot put here to lull the non-humans into thinking that humans aren't the real threat. Yes, yes. Crafty lot. Now the reasons for human dominance are becoming clearer. I shall upgrade my opinion of humans from pathetic, to "worthy of wary distrust".
