I know you have alot of questions regarding our rollout of ROT 1.5 next month. ( Tentatively scheduled for 12/17/2009. Below are the details that are fact and you need to be aware of and prepare for.
~ Automated ER System
You will need to have taken any outstanding ( meaning you have the XP, but you haven’t had the DM give you your stats yet ) ER's processed. The new system will determine your ER level upon first login and set it so that the automated system knows where you actually are in regards to ER's. We will be making time the week of 12/12/2009 to make sure you are able to get your ER.
If you fail to do this, the system will mark that you have received the ER and you will effectively lose it. Don't whine or complain about it, just the way it is.
~ New Persistent Journal System
We have fully implemented MySQL via NWNX4 for standard and extremely efficient database functionality. We will now be storing all journal entries into this new database. You will lose all journal entries that you currently have upon first login into ROT 1.5.
The new system will allow us, out of game, to fix and to track your progression if the need would arise. Also, we will now be able to trim defunct player data to keep things nice and tidy. Currently we are at about 1GB of database data and at least 1/2 of it is defunct.
ONE THING I FORGOT TO MENTION - I will give you all plot journal entries for chapter 1-13 start if you have 600k XP or greater, so that you dont have to run through all the content again to have access to the stuff you previously had access to. You still will have to re-run side quests, such as Cata's Lost dog, etc.

ROT 2 New Features:
PC Delete Automation - You will be receiving a new inventory item upon login. The item will start a conversation to allow you to delete your character ( aka, PC, toon ). Once you accept deletion of your character, you will be booted and your character will be deleted within 2 minutes of activation. ( 3/26/2010 )
Players Online Page - Back and better than ever, is the players online page. It shows exactly who is on, what character that player is playing and where that character is. Note: The data may be up to 2 minutes behind the real time values.

Trinity Server Notice Posts - We have tied the main sign post in Trinity Town Center to our signature database and can make real time changes to it for up to the minute in game notifications of events, etc. Please check daily for updates and notifications of DM events and content rollouts.
