Leaning back into her chair with a small sigh Loremaster Silver reads the latest missive from one of her Loresmiths:
"Loremaster Silver,
I hope this reaches you in Cormyr and finds you in good health. It seems that you were correct in your assumption that we needed to observe the region of Trinity. It seems there is much worthy of saga and note here. The common trans-dimensional occurrences are truly enough to warrant our attentions."
Stop kissing my rear and get the the point the Loremaster mused....
"It seems that this very day there was another occurrence like you described upon our last gathering. The one known as the Silver Adapt somehow has means to gain the intelligence of occurrence that we would kill to gain. Upon your orders I have not approached him, but continue to watch from afar. This day he sent many brave souls to investigate some reports from the outskirts of the realms these people are aware of. It seems that some creatures were in areas not expected. After the group headed off to see what happened this mage of Silver was musing to himself and seeming to be in deep internal discussion....who or what he hears, I could not fathom.
I then decided that it was well past time to investigate what creatures these adventurers would see. Their trials were many. The faced creatures from the abysmal planes, the hellions, and creatures horribly altered by the taint of evil. After fighting hordes not faced since the clearings of the Kings Forest in Cormyr, the adventurers stumbled on the creatures you wish us to watch...a ferret of unusually high intelligence.
This creature led the group through the hordes in a way to ensure that they all survived and those of the corruption perished. Somehow at one point the creature even dragged the wounded into a side room so they would be patched up while not under attack.
I am glad to report that the brave heroes succeeded and reported back to the Silver Adept.
From his reaction, it seems the the Silver Adapt has had some experience with this creature before and I know not what or where...
I will keep you updated on any further developments"
The Loremaster sat for a long time pondering what this could all mean....then she sighed and handed the paper to one of her staff "For the Trinity Series my dear. Have this added to the annals of both local heroism and the Silver Adapt"
