I started a character here a looong while back, but RL got in the way. Now I'm "unemployed"(stay at home dad, kid's three weeks old) and want to dust off my NWN2 game, so I thought I'd roll up a cleric and get started. I too took a short hiatus and was also a stay at home dad. If there is anything you need (advice, information, basic gear to start with, build suggestions), if I can't help you myself, I can direct you to someone who can.
