RESOLVED - At some location my PC has moving choppy and FPS has falling

Hey guys!

This server is perfect!
But only at ROT i have got 1 problem:
At a few locations my PC has moving choppy and FPS has falling to 5-10. I have found this bug only at a few locations (4-5).
I broadcast video to show this bug more clearly. There is https://youtu.be/tuzSAYxPuuU
As we can see till PC at outdoor all is fine. But when PC have entered to crypt bug show itself.

Can u give some advice to fix this bug?

PS
My vert sync switched off ofc, and i use nwn2 launcher from here: http://www.nynaeve.net/Skywing/nwn2/cli ... Latest.zip
My personal computer isn't newest, but it able to play any new game like Wither3, COD MW, FarCry4 at medium quality of graphics.

I have the same issue now as well. A year ago before I went on hiatus, I didn't have the issue, so it must be something more recent.

I'll take a look. We haven't changed that content since around 2012, so not sure what would be causing the issue other than new VFX on the PC + the existing area causing an issue. Many interior tilesets we use are community content and we have had issues with some which caused us to scrap areas post development to avoid issues like these. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty that are perfect, like the ice temple tileset we used for the new Anthology campaign.

Holy crap, I never would have thought that would matter so much.

If there isn't enough RAM in a machine to load the areas, the computer will use the storage media. This is most often a harddisk, so the gameplay will become a lot more laggy.
With a SSD, which read and write speeds are far superior to any harddisk, having low RAM will be less felt :)
I think this is what was the cause in Maximua's case :)

I think i got that problem only because servers files was damaged during 1st loading. I remember i repeated loading a few files a few times because loading stopped for some reason.
2d time when i reloading servers files i had no any trouble during loading.

PS SSD make location loading a bit faster then HDD. For example, WOW locations loading in 50%-70% faster. There is only one reason why i use SSD to install a game i play at this moment.

The SSD loading time makes sense. The TRX files are loaded by the player via the NWN2 client locally. This is the file that has the actual area data in it, terrain, etc.
